Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Tellfair is a text-to-speech service with tools for live streamers. The service is operated by the Tellfair administration (the “Operator”, “we”). Contact: support@tellfair.com.

2. What data we collect and why

Account: email address, a password hash (we never store the password itself) and an optional display name. Used to register, sign in, recover access and contact you about your account and payments.

Payments: order number, amount, plan and payment status. Card details are processed by the payment provider; we do not receive them. Used to provide the paid service and for accounting.

Content you submit: texts, videos, subtitles and the generated audio. Used to provide the service and to show your generation history.

Voice recordings for voice cloning. Used only to create your custom voice. We do not use them to identify you.

Stream data: donor names, donation amounts and messages, nicknames and chat messages from the Twitch, YouTube, Kick, VK Video Live and TikTok chats that the streamer connects. Used to read them aloud and show them in the streamer's OBS widgets, to translate them, to filter slurs and threats, and for the stream history and post-stream report.

Connected platform accounts (Google/YouTube, Twitch, Kick, TikTok), only if the streamer connects them in the dashboard: account or channel ID and name, and access tokens. Used only for moderation actions in the streamer's own chat that the streamer starts from the Tellfair control panel. See section 3 for Google user data.

Technical data: IP address, browser information, sign-in time and request logs. Used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

3. Google user data (YouTube)

A streamer may connect a Google account that has a YouTube channel. Tellfair then receives the channel ID, the channel name and OAuth tokens with the youtube.force-ssl scope.

Tellfair uses this data only to apply a temporary or permanent ban to a viewer in the streamer's own YouTube live chat when the streamer requests it in the Tellfair control panel. To do that, Tellfair looks up the ID of the active live chat of the streamer's broadcast. Tellfair does not read the streamer's videos, comments, emails, contacts or any other Google data.

Tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and are deleted immediately when the streamer disconnects the account in the dashboard or deletes their Tellfair account.

Google user data is not shared with third parties, not sold, not used for advertising and not used to train AI or machine-learning models. People at Tellfair do not read it.

You can revoke access at any time with the “Disconnect” button in the Tellfair dashboard or at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Tellfair's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Legal basis

Performance of the contract — for the account, payments and the service itself. Your consent — given at registration. Our legitimate interest — for security and abuse prevention. Legal obligations — for payment records and lawful requests from authorities.

5. How long we keep data

Account — while it exists; after deletion, data is removed within 30 days, except payment records.

Generated audio — 30 days; dubbed and uploaded videos — 3 days; stream audio files — 1 day; stream event history — 7 days.

Voice recordings — until you delete the voice in the dashboard.

Donation log and post-stream reports — while the account exists or until you ask us to delete them.

Tokens of connected platform accounts — while the account is connected; deleted immediately on disconnect or account deletion.

Chat messages are not stored in the database; recent messages are kept in server memory during the stream.

Payment records — 5 years, as required by accounting law. Technical logs — up to 90 days.

6. Who we share data with

The payment provider — order number, amount and email for the receipt.

Our speech-synthesis server — texts and voice recordings, to produce audio. It is operated by us.

The language-model provider — donation and chat texts, donor names and character descriptions, to generate replies, translations and safety checks. Email and other account data are not sent.

Euler Stream — the TikTok channel name and, if connected, the TikTok account token, to read the live chat and perform moderation actions started by the streamer.

Hosting providers that run our servers — only as needed to store data.

Government authorities — only on a lawful request.

Google user data is never shared with any of the parties above.

7. Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising, analytics or third-party cookies.

8. Security

Connections use HTTPS, passwords are stored only as a strong hash, platform tokens are encrypted, only the Operator has access to servers and the database, and we protect against password guessing and automated attacks.

9. Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, restrict or delete it, and withdraw consent. Write to support@tellfair.com from your account email; we reply within 10 business days. Users in the EU have the rights under the GDPR, including data portability and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

10. Children

The service is not intended for children under 14. If we learn that a child under 14 created an account without parental consent, we delete the account and its data.

11. Changes

The new version applies from its publication on this page. We announce significant changes in advance by email or on the site.
